Pearls Before Swine

Sometimes I get an image stuck in my head, and I can't rid of it until I paint it. So there. Its done. Hopefully I can get moving on other things now.

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with it now. its 9"x12" on watercolour and well, its unusual for me to work that size on paper. I'll let you know if I list it.

Michelle,
I love the delicate nature of the lady in this painting in juxtaposition to the "weight" of the pigs. It is quite lovely! I would love to see MORE of these spontaneous ideas get unstuck from your head!!! :-)

I love looking at this piece (which is why I'm back). It has the lyrical quality of a fairy tale illustration--it brings to life the idiom but also stands on its own as an entrancing work of art.
